We went to the show in Maroochydore, and it was disappointing that we had to sit on broken seats. Also, some acts were repetitive, and one of the acts was just a fill in. Other than that, we had great fun. The show is family-friendly, and the staff were friendly.
Bought a" premium seat", got a hard deck chair instead cause they "didn't have enough seats". As for the entertainment is was repetitive and disappointing. The whole experience felt like a cheap and nasty money making scam.
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at Circus Rio. I dont understand the negative posts. The performers are really skilled and it was a great mix of different acts like aerials, acrobatics, stunt, dance, magic and funny entertainment. Our 3 and 5 year old kids had a great time, were in awe and had fun! It went for roughly 2 hours with a 20 min break. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and recommend it as a family experience!
Took my two older boys (10 and 7) and spent extra for "VIP" tickets, could not see majority of the first half because the spotlight was SO bright and directed straight at our section, everyone covered their eyes so that was so disappointing! I tried to speak to someone about it and he laughed, so went and spoke directly to the lighting guy, at first he was a bit rude "well what can I do, not use the spotlight?!" I explained that it was pretty disappointing to have paid extra to be in VIP and not be able to even see the show.... read more
Great family fun. 5 yr old loved her first time at the circus; parents had a great time too. Came for the acro and aerial performances which were beautiful but also loved the clowns, the illusions and the motorbike was a great way to finish the show. Setup was good for a really wet day. People need to be realistic that you’re not paying a premium price for a state of the art performance. But these are highly talented people who do amazing things that the average person could not and it was well run afternoon of entertainment... read more
