This was hands down the best shopping experience of the year. I was working on refining my onigiri game, and the wonderful owner took the time to guide me toward what she called Emperor soy sauce and high-quality sushi rice. I also picked up flash-frozen, sashimi-grade tuna to make spicy tuna onigiri. I had no idea the flavors could get even better than what I already knew—especially at such reasonable prices. I can’t wait to go back and restock.

The owner is so sweet and the prices.are very reasonable. I love going there to get my matcha for my coffee.
My wife is from Japan. It’s disappointing that most dozen food seem like they were defrosted and froze again as frozen gyoza, shoomai get slimy when cooked. No fresh vegetables or frozen sashimi either. Lack of frozen dessert. The store can be larger. When there are more than 6 customers, it’s hard to navigate. We miss Mitsuwa store!
