CircEsteem is a beautiful place staffed by wonderful instructors. Offering classes and summer camps for kids of all ages, CircEsteem teaches the circus arts of acrobatics, juggling, tumbling, lyra, clowning, etc. Their programs help kids, tweens, and teens build self-esteem in a safe and diverse environment. They help kids push past their fears and gain confidence in ways that translate wonderfully to all other facets of their lives. Excellent program. My kids begged to come back to the day off camp. They to a great job to build up values like perseverance in kids.
Lucas Johnson is an incredible teacher! I learned so much in his Queer Circus Ensemble class, and it would be so cool if there were more adult classes from him!
CircEsteem was once a wonderful organization and has great potential, but that is unfortunately completely wasted now due to terrible mismanagement. The teaching staff is amazing, talented, kind and knowledgable. However, those at the top of the administration have demonstrated a complete disregard for the working conditions of the entire staff, and pay themselves a very generous salary but constantly ask their employees to make sacrifices.
