This CIMB Branch don't deserve a star at all. I called this branch and a guy pick up the call. He put me on hold for quite sometime and later hang up. When I tried calling this branch again, it was engaged. Good strategy. You think I'm stupid not knowing what is your strategy? Convenient bank branch located within walking distance from the surrounding housing area. Parking can be an issue during weekdays, especially during peak hours. On the positive side, there is a good number of ATMs and cash deposit machines available, which makes basic transactions fairly convenient.
The counter staff on the first floor were very calm and friendly. In contrast, the Preferred staff on the second floor, with the exception of one, were arrogant and unhelpful. In fact, they were even rude to customers. The Invest staff seemed to have a dual personality. The security guards on the first and second floors didn't seem to be very good at English, but they left a contrasting impression with their kindness and smiles. The staff on Level 2 are all very pleasant and nice with the exception of the security guard. He’s rather rude and it’s not his first time being as such. Also my mum needs to use the washroom urgently and was wondering if she could use the washroom and was rudely declined. I think it’s a bit unnecessary. Also, please fix the coffee Maschine. It’s been out of service for a long time.
Very bad customer service. Wait time is long even when there's hardly any customers in the bank. Hopefully, CIMB would improve on the customer experience. Else, there are plenty of other banks nearby.
