Tested our family of 4. It was quick, easy, & painless. Representative was polite. The drive around the parking lot is a little awkward, but we had our results in 18 hours! Very pleased.
We had a rapid test done on a Thursday at 1:30pm. We suspected my son had a cold but wanted to be sure before we sent him back to school. I had a negative test email by 8am on Friday. The process was a little weird but when we got to the booth for the test, the woman helping made it easy and didn't pressure me when we needed to do a few extra steps online. I'd say these workers have a right to be grumpy but she was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Very strange. You select the time slot and pay to schedule the test. Then - having already paid, they make you sign up for lab pass, a software platform that has about 6 pages of terms and conditions including granting the right to your data and results for research and product development purposes. At this point, the user had already paid, so if you disagree to the terms you have to stop there and chase after your money. I wonder if this is even legal, to force me into a software platform like that
Warning to those that need the test for international travel & need passport number to be included. I’ve called CIC 5 times to do this, and still no results. Their customer support told me to send email (with result + passport photo) to them; but after 12hrs — 6 attempts from 3 different email addresses, they still told me they have not received any of my email.
