I went there today to ask some questions about my account service charges because they recently increased my charges after my previous promotion ended. However, one of the staff members seemed very dismissive and unwilling to listen to my concerns. He kept saying there was no promotion on my account before, even though there clearly was. I also felt that I was treated differently because of my race, which made the experience very uncomfortable.
Needed to use bank machine. No drive thru. Doors locked to vestibule. Sign states “Starting May 16 Vestibule will be open between 7:30am to 11:30pm”. It was 9:25pm
The service at this branch is seriously lacking. Advisor left myself and son waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes, entire appointment was only for 1 hour. We simply got up and left. Went to RBC without an appointment and they took care of my needs immediately. Still haven’t heard from the CIBC advisor. Please find another bank, CIBC is simply not qualified to deal with customers.
Waited 30 minutes, the one staff on the counter was serving one client meanwhile the line was accumulating. By the time I gave up and left there were 17 queuing customers.
