Needed to use bank machine. No drive thru. Doors locked to vestibule. Sign states “Starting May 16 Vestibule will be open between 7:30am to 11:30pm”. It was 9:25pm
The service at this branch is seriously lacking. Advisor left myself and son waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes, entire appointment was only for 1 hour. We simply got up and left. Went to RBC without an appointment and they took care of my needs immediately. Still haven’t heard from the CIBC advisor. Please find another bank, CIBC is simply not qualified to deal with customers.
Waited 30 minutes, the one staff on the counter was serving one client meanwhile the line was accumulating. By the time I gave up and left there were 17 queuing customers.
I went here the other day because there was fraud on my card a couple Sundays ago and when I went to take money out the machine ate my card, so I go Monday to my amazing branch on upper James and rymal and they said their systems are down so they can't do anything at the time. So I had to wait days to go back to a CIBC to get a new card because I was working and couldn't make it there during bank hours. Terrible branch!! I've worked with 2 of the employees here trying to get a line of credit increase; the first advisor dealt with me like she was bothered by me and gave attitude the whole interaction. Then I worked with the manager who was nice but very ingenuine. He told me I wasn't eligible for the line of credit increase because of my documents. (I don't even think he tried).
