they now slow down money in your account when transferring from one account to another just to charge an overdraft. if it takes time to transfer then why does the balance not reflect this? if it takes time then why is it in there? if i use it i get charged now? this is criminal. not surprised.
Even though I'm a CIBC customer, I applied for a credit card and the process went on for weeks and weeks! It really doesn't seem like those blokes even know what they're doing there. Worst banking experience ever.
Wouldn't let me rate zero stars. Don't get your account compromised because CIBC's fraud dept will hang you out to dry. They called me about a suspicious transaction on my business account they discovered, stating they had multiple complaints about a suspicious "vendor", so they were calling me to advise that my account was compromised. Oh, and now that I'm aware, they advise that they will not be refunding my money! And I asked to speak to the supervisor, who, although I was firm, not abusive, actually hung up on me!
