As someone who has been banking with CIBC since I was 12 years old, I have never felt like my money was so inaccessible. The vestibule is always closed at 7pm which is frustrating so you can’t even deposit money - especially for those who work until 5pm out of town. Instead of locking your customers/clients out, follow your competitors and crank up the a/c in the winter to keep the homeless out. Beyond frustrating as I then have to drive to the NEXT TOWN OVER to be able to bank without a teller.
The staff are always super helpful and happy to help me with anything I need
Kind of a mixed bag here. The bank itself was beautiful. The receptionist and bank manager etc were fantastic. Great women, easy to understand. Truly cared about us. The advisor we spoke to could barely speak English. I don't know why places keep doing this. The last thing I want to do when discussing the investment of life savings is try to translate what someone is saying and risk any sort of miscommunication whatsoever.
