Kind of a mixed bag here. The bank itself was beautiful. The receptionist and bank manager etc were fantastic. Great women, easy to understand. Truly cared about us. The advisor we spoke to could barely speak English. I don't know why places keep doing this. The last thing I want to do when discussing the investment of life savings is try to translate what someone is saying and risk any sort of miscommunication whatsoever.
I highly recommend Deepak Sharma at CIBC Stratford. He has been attentive, professional, and extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Deepak brought in additional experts when needed and provided clear, thoughtful advice every step of the way. Most importantly, he treated my elderly mother with genuine care and respect, which meant a great deal to us. Thank you to Deepak and the CIBC Stratford team for helping my mother successfully consolidate and manage her investment portfolio.
