ATMs never work when I need them. I'd not recommend CIBC if you need reliable banking after hours.
The website says open until 7 on Thursdays. I walked from the other side of town only to find out on arrival that they do not handle cash transactions after 5pm. Of course, that’s what I needed done. I was talking to a woman about this when the teller yelled out, “because we are short staffed!” Well, that comment didn’t at all apply to the civil conversation I was having with the woman. We bank there.
Worst CIBC branch I have ever dealt with. Will be moving my investment accounts, savings and Chequing to another bank. One person in front of me and after 15 minutes I had to leave the bank. They totally screwed up an account I opened and voice mail for bank associate kept saying they are out of office indefinitely even though I am told that’s not the case. I assume the executive in Toronto pays no attention to these complaints here in NS. On my way to the Bank of Nova Scotia now.
