Having recently moved to BC from abroad I was greatly surprised and delighted by the personalised service that this bank gives. From the outset they have been welcoming and friendly, explained the whole baking process in Canada and take a genuine interest in you as an individual. Islam helped set us up with a savings and debit card and was a great help in explaining the banking system over here. Anita was great. CIBC, customer service, not so much.
I just can’t believe the poor reviews for this branch. I have visited this branch numerous times and have had stellar service on each visit. The customer service reps go out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. When we first moved to this community I actually received an email from the staff welcoming me to summerland—even though this is not my primary branch. Can’t say enough about exceptional customer service I’ve received from staff.
