Worst customer service if you are a Caucasian female. The South Asian female staff member up front was helping another South Asian man and then I was next in line. Another South Asian gentleman came in and lined up behind me. I had already been there a few minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff member. I got approved for a credit card online and was informed to verify my income in person at a branch. I took all the documents and got it verified by a banker AV. I still haven't received my card yet even after emailing the banker numerous times. It's been more than 6 months now since I got approved for the card. The toll free line always gets dropped so I can't reach them either. It is so frustrating. Very disappointed!
I'm a senior, with a relatively inactive account. Diana clearly and quickly answered my questions so I could move forward feeling secure about my holdings. Not all branches at CIBC, and certainly not all banks can deliver such trust over the phone. Thank you Diana!
