Filled for financial hardship but was denied although I don't have a job, income, or means to support myself. Was told I'd be escalated but it's been weeks since hearing about this although it was the branch who initially told me I had to file financial hardship in order to remove funds only to then deny me. I also learned that they never actually escalated my case as they said they did which has led me through multiple channels of CIBC to get resolved.

It’s hard to say whether the staff at this branch are simply not properly trained or the systems they have to deal with are so restrictive but waiting three hours for a bank draft is a bit much. The tellers seemed to be unable yo process customers in a timely manner which resulted in long lines waiting. There were only two tellers at a busy time and although there were several other staff they seemed to be hiding in their offices rather than trying to assist. Very poor experience.
