Extremely unprofessional, pushy and rude to clients. When I tried to calmly explain today that I would need to discuss something and call them back I got the exact response of “you just clearly don’t understand how banking works”. The entire call was a representative making snarky comments towards me. probably one of the worst customer experiences I have encountered.

After having no joy with telephone banking I went to the Stony Plain branch for help, although the teller did give me the information l needed the way she delivered it was condescending, she basically ended the conversation when she was done, I walked out thinking what an obtuse person she was, I also witnessed her do the same thing with an elderly gentleman before me, Stony Plain do better, train your tellers to not be arrogant when dealing with the actual paying customers of the bank !

Took a 15 minute walk to downtown to do my banking. On a Saturday, at 1pm the entire building is locked up tight, despite there being a literal sign saying you can access the ATM. This is the third time I have walked down to this bank during access to the ATM hours, which is stupid no matter the reasoning, and have had it locked. I am so done. If they are going to limit building access, have it available during your listed hours and get an outdoor ATM like every other bloody bank in the area! This is ridiculous.

Horrible experience again. They have a list of acceptable id. I had a dL, a credit card with name and signature, provincial benefit card and tax notices, refused and told cibc doesn't follow government policy for cashing federal cheques issued by government of Canada. I printed your acceptable id off cibc website I think maybe employees should be up to date on them. Don't tell me the only other piece of id u accept is ahc cause that's bogus!! Filing a complaint with ombudsmen and cibc

So you're telling me after 5 pm, I have to drive way out of town just to use the ATM!? What a joke! I can understand to keep the homeless from sleeping inside, have a drive thru option like the ones in Edmonton do!
