To open a basic chequing account in person requires an appointment. Understandable. But the waiting list for an appointment here is a month long. Which is absurd. This location was convenient for me. But why would anyone wait an entire month just to open an account when it can be done online in 10 mins or in person at any other bank in 20-30mins? Wild.
