Terrible customer service. I went to the branch several times and all the experiences were bad. The staff are not helpful at all and very ignorant, so I ended up closing all my cibc accounts.

I’ve been banking with CIBC for 20 years, and I’ve always deposited my work checks at other locations without any issues—funds were immediately available, and the process was seamless. However, my experience at this location was completely different and extremely disappointing. When I tried to deposit my work check, the teller refused to accept it and directed me to the ATM, despite me explaining that the ATM places a hold on my funds while tellers usually don’t. The customer service is horrendous especially the GM Cathy Li incorrectly wired my transaction without my consent. Most of the staff have no idea what they are doing there. Stay away like the plague i rather go further away to a different branch. You have been warned!
