Went into bank to open an account . Greeter , said they can’t open the account today or this week ! because they are too busy and I must make an appointment. The branch was dead , no people in it and she could not help me . Staff these days are super lazy and not knowledgeable of anything except for passing the buck . Service has declined and lack of knowledge and common sense doesn’t seem to exist much any more .
Terrible experience with Maninder. I went into the branch as I received a pre-approved line of credit offer and spent over an hour there as Maninder entered the application 3 times. He called customer service and identified some sort of technical issue. He said "they" would follow up with me to sign the papers and complete the process. I emailed as a follow up that day as no one had called or emailed me and the offer expired that day. I had a rather unfortunate experience with Natasha Waren at CIBC Bank, finding her to be quite incompetent. She provided me with incorrect information and unnecessarily placed a hold on a certified draft for an extended period of over a month. I have since escalated this matter to CIBC due to the severity of the situation.
Very slow service with barely anyone ever working. Don't waste your time and attend another branch with full service
I visited them today in not a very good situation. I was coming back from the hospital as my little baby was sick. I just had my health card as my id proof but had all my digital ID Proofs to show to make an online transfer. I requested the staff that I cannot come again as I have a sick baby in the car and the transfer was very urgent for me to make.
