Brand new location but still under construction
I’ve been a CIBC customer for over 7 years and always deposited my U.S. dollar checks weekly without any problem. Normally, my deposits take about 10 business days to clear, but I noticed that at this new branch, even after waiting 2 or 3 weeks, I still can’t access my full funds. When I went to withdraw, the teller told me there’s a new $1,000 daily withdrawal limit, even though I used to withdraw around $3,000 without issues.
