I booked an appointment at CIBC to discuss opening a TFSA, but unfortunately my experience with Razia was very disappointing. Prior to visiting, I was advised over the phone that the branch would be able to assist me. Absolutely horrific customer service! Do NOT come here if you can avoid
I had a very disappointing experience with this bank during my mortgage renewal process. I started actively shopping for renewal rates on March 3, 2026, and followed up consistently (13 times) over the next several weeks. Despite repeatedly requesting written confirmation of rates, nothing was ever provided. On April 1, I was verbally quoted 3.94% for a fixed rate. By April 10, that rate had increased to 4.14%.
