I had an extremely disappointing experience at CIBC today. The level of unprofessionalism was shocking. Staff appeared poorly trained, lacked basic knowledge, and were unable to handle even straightforward requests without confusion and unnecessary delays. Instead of providing assistance, they made the entire process frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. Extremely disappointing experience at this branch. The tellers were eating and chatting at the counter, with no smile or welcoming attitude. Not just one day that I noticed. A proper greeting and good customer service are the basic expectations from frontline staff, as they represent the face of the brand. Unfortunately, they also appeared quite incompetent and lacked knowledge.
