Writing this review only to recommend one of the amazing performer at the branch: Stelio !!! We need more caring, professional willingness to help as Stelio has been offering the best and attentive customer service. Best customer service experience with CIBC I have ever had thanks to Stelio! Besides that, banking with CIBC has been increasingly difficult recently including a long line wait at the branch with only two tellers an extra security guard and one additional staff just staring at ATM machine, with a call together wi... read more
Worst customer service ever. Staff by the name of Jacob is extremely unknowledgeable. I am shocked she was hired to work dealing with peoples money. Very clueless. If you ever deal with this lady, you would be better off going somewhere else. Doesnt have a clue what shes doing. If you are the manager for this CIBC, I highly would suggest for her to be retrained. SMH!!!!!
CIBC advertises no fees for purchasing foreign currency, but when I went in with cash and my CIBC Mastercard, they refused to sell me currency, claiming they don't accept cash. As a bank, this is unacceptable.
I appreciate the staff’s work, but the waiting time was very long since only one person was serving customers. It would be great if more tellers could be available to speed up the service.
I usually don’t leave a review but please never go here to do any business. I came in today to close all my accounts and told me I couldn’t do it because I would need my chequing to transfer my tfsa money. I understood that but it’s so infuriating when I literally called their customer service and just advised me to go there. It would have been a help if they mentioned this ahead of time and didn’t waste my time. One of the reasons why I had to close my account was because they had forgotten to mail my cc TWICE.
