This was one of the most disappointing and poorly handled banking experiences I have encountered. I went to the CIBC West Vancouver branch to replace a lost business debit card after confirming with my home branch that this location could issue it. I drove there in good faith and waited to be assisted. Instead of reviewing the request, Edenik (teller) immediately redirected me to call customer service. I want to give a huge shout-out to the team at CIBC especially Employee MO . I recently dealt with fraud on my account, and I was quite panicked. The Mo was so patient and polite; he walked me through the process and resolved everything much faster than I expected. They truly turned a scary experience into a manageable one. Poor hours ... Disinterested customer service ... work to rule ... SLOW and disinterested staff ... Banking Machine hours are terrible!!! They love dr8nking their Starbucks!
