I was a customer many years with CIBC. I had called this branch to get help and the customer service who answered (at my home branch) "I can not help you call the 1800#" and hung up on me. I called back and got the same person, who refused to give me her name. I ended up switching banks after many many years due to horrible customer service. Crystal from this location was not helpful either. Asked how to keep my business then proceeded to dismiss me when I actually needed help. So disappointing.

Worst banking experience of my life. Deposited 1600 in cash to have the machine break down while I was using it. I’m told by bank manager crystal I now have to wait 10 days to get my money. Joke of a bank. Little to no customer service
when the tires hits the road and if they think you are a nobody, you won’t be getting anywhere with cibc. My honest review. Edit: I plan to sue this branch if the home sale proceeds still hold after 5 business days. Millions are at stake for another home purchase and being imperial service client for over 2 decades. This is a let down and I will escalate this case upward. When my own advisor told my family, she “don’t know us” after having 3 mortgage renewal under her.
