There seems to be zero accountability at this branch. I seriously doubt that anyone at CIBC even reads these reviews. We met with a Service Rep to start the process to transition our late father's bank account 3 months ago. I called and emailed several times to follow up. No response. 2 stars only because the business advisor (I forget his name is wonderful and makes things very easy to understand). Otherwise I was assigned a new financial advisor after mine had moved. I spoke with him on the phone about a time sensitive situation and he said he would email me right away. That was 3 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from him after multiple voicemails. I contacted the Victoria branch instead and they contacted me and set me up with a new financial advisor within a day of leaving a voicemail. Go to that b... read more

I wanted to open an account with a financial advisor, Cindy Yu. My scheduled telephone appointment was from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Around 1:05pm, I called the financial advisor's extension line, where after a couple rings, I was left with her voicemail, stating that she "has extremely limited access to phone & email communications."
