Dunbar residents have been out of our CIBC for over 7 years since they shut down due to corporate downsizing hence pushing seniors to on-line banking only. This is not fair, as a lease is available at the old Vancity credit union across the street, let's get it together !
Poor customer service, often drives clients away from the branch, resulting in zero satisfaction with their service. Opened a business account, signed documents in person, and until this date it has not been activated.

Visited this branch for a PIN-related service and staff photocopied my ID and credit card without clearly explaining why or what information was being retained. Customers should be informed before sensitive personal and financial information is copied. Very disappointing communication and privacy handling. The Client Service Representative was unprofessional in tone and manner, and did not handle the interaction respectfully or clearly.
It is the worst branch of CIBC. I was there for one hour with a young man to help me with my requests. When i checked later he even didn’t change my address. They don’t know how to proceed with your request. Super unsatisfying
