My account was locked due to potential fraud and I came in to get it fixed. Had a very nice and chill chat with Dom at the front desk who had literally just got back in from lunch, and they walked me through everything. Altough they were nice, they are absolutely incompetent and completely unhelpful. They made everything unnecessarily complicated. It honestly felt like nobody there actually wanted to do their job or help customers. But honestly I never experienced it differently with CIBC. It seems like they don't train their representatives very well. I don't even know
By far the worst bank for business credit cards. Constantly blocking account for no reason on every transaction. Every purchase I make in town comes as fraud and forces me to go to the branch all the time. Definitely not going back to cibc for my next company bank account.
