The girl at the front desk could improve her customer service skills. During my visit, she spoke quite loudly and, at times, seemed to go beyond the limits of her role. Instead of directing customers to the relevant officials when a matter was beyond her knowledge, she attempted to handle it herself, which led to confusion. I believe front desk staff should communicate respectfully, know when to refer customers to the appropriate person, and ensure customers receive accurate information. What’s with the lady with a fake accent at the CIBC counter? I’ve had a few bad experiences with her, and her customer service has been very disappointing.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely the worst banking experience of my life. If you value your money, your time and your self respect, don't bank here. The service is generally very rude and they are super unhelpful. The branch doesn't appear to communicate with "the rest" of cibc at all.
