By far the worst experience I have ever received while banking. I got scammed a month ago and even with opening a new account Cibc has put an outrageous number of blocks on my account and none of which they consulted me on. (One they even put over a thousand dollars of my own money on hold and took me 4 days to get a hold of someone to deal with it) going in today no one could find a manager for me to speak with and didn’t know when she would be back. I went in to set a meeting with a rep to answer some questions about something that happened with one of my investments. I was told no one could help me and their earliest availability was 2 and a half weeks away. Pathetic. The teller I dealt with had no interest in trying to help me find a reasonable solution for my issue and sent me on my way without any effort or care.
Only one ⭐because this is the lowest I can post. Absolutely terrible service, no one answers the phones and they do not return left messages. Tried to see the mortgage rep. but apparently that's too complicated.
Came at 12:40 for a 12:45 appt and there was no one available to help until someone came out of their office and they said they messaged the advisor and the advisor did not show up at all! It was 1:10 where I went to that advisor who messages and said listen I have an appt and no one has helped me yet. So she took me in and the appt wasn’t helpful as they never mentioned anything in the email that they required documents!
Jacob Menard is always so helpful when it comes to managing my investment accounts, he is quick to respond to any emails and phone calls and is always super friendly! Thank you so much for being awesome
