Our agent, Jason Zhou, was the worst agent we ever had. He was late to our appointment and then rushed us during it. In the first few minutes of our discussion, he said some inappropriate things, asking about our status in Canada and expressing his disdain for how easily Canada accepts Ukrainian refugees. Cibc has no empathy or sympathy with estate affairs. My mother recently passed and in dealing with her estate we called in to cibc asking to please waive the 8 cents owing on a closed credit card. They said no and advised they needed the funds to close out the card. No wonder their customer service reviews are abysmal.
