Pretty irresponsible and laid back experience. I had booked a phone meeting appointment with - Tomi Owoeye to discuss Investment option one week in advance but no one bothered to call or connect.
Lure you in with deceptively large bonuses for switching just to take 6 months to pay out and be ok with not qualifying you for the bonus if they dont feel like you qualify. I was told i needed a direct deposit on my account and two bill payments within the first 2 months for a 500 welcome bonus and 100 dollar costco cash card only for them to come back after waiting 6 months that it couldnt just be a direct deposit it had to be a recurring direct deposit every month for over a year to qualify for the bonus. Horrible customer service. I applied for a product, and had a horrible experience with communication with Vanessa at the branch. Through out the application process I was told I would hear back by said date and time and wouldn’t hear back until 3-5 business days later. I am closing my acct with cibc and starting a new bank relationship with a competitor. I am writing this review in hopes to inform others of this awful establishment.
Very bad service!!!
