CIBC Branch with ATM

The location of this branch is the business building they are in. They are at the bottom and above them is about 14 floors of different businesses and right beside them on the ground floor, is a Dental office, Structube, Oxford College of Canada Classes etc. From these businesses, people come out and smoke right near CIBC's doors. So when people need to come into the branch and use the ATM machine, it smells like smoke big time. It is so hard to breathe. I went into this branch to open a new bank account, I wasn’t greeted with even a “hello,” and when I asked about opening an account, I was told they’re fully booked until next week. The lady at the far right table told me to go to another branch at Sheppard-Yonge if I wanted to open an account. I also asked about monthly fees for checking accounts, but instead of explaining, she just handed me a thick brochure and told me to read it myself. It felt dismissive and unhelpful

Terrible service. The white lady at the far right was extremely rude and unhelpful. She clearly lacks basic customer service skills and should not be working in that position without proper training.
