An ill informed teller didn't realize that CRA cheques never expire and refused to deposit my cheque. Also the several basic questions I asked about my account she didn't have the answer to and had to go to her manager to ask for the answer, wasting my time. They should train the tellers better at this location. I usually bank at another CIBC where the tellers are very informative and have never had this bad of an experience.
Cibc was poor management skills and lot of relatives friends working together most of them are unprofessional and not the big bank not a recommended bank no one is available and the advisor always listen to the radio and music not a professional type. Looks like kindergarten type business.
Lure you in with promotions that never materialize. Costco gift card hasn’t arrived almost a year after opening the chequing account and transferring monthly direct debits as per criteria. Transferred my TFSA AND RRSP accounts from another bank with the 100 free trades promotion. The promotion wasn’t applied to the accounts and I’ve called three times to try and resolve it and it still doesn’t get done. This company is a large scale scam operation. Trust me, avoid them and do not get suckered in like I did.
Their systems dont work, advisors make clients sit for endless times . Never got proper service whenever visited. These concerns should be seen by senior management and something should definitely be done for redressal.
The staff told me the credit card dispute is done and no charge would be applied to me for that issues, then a week later I receive an email saying the dispute is ended and I will be charged for the same issue. Totally unprofessional and give the wrong info
