Worst bank ever. I deposited a check from my cousin into my account. First of all, they take forever to process things. Then Karen called me to tell me she can’t deposit a check that isn’t in my name into my account: something I used to do easily and smoothly with TD Bank and Scotiabank. She told me I would need to come to the branch with my cousin so he could sign and give permission for me to receive the money. The front staff needed a lot of training, I asked for my NR4 and they were like laughing what was it. Until I show, last year I went at Baseline branch, they gave me on spot. Still, they were not able to get it, told me they have to request the branch manager & you will get call back. Still waiting for a call back. Staff genuinely needed training.
Horrible bank to deal with. All branches and the customer service department.
The Teller counter has very bad services. don't come this one
Have always had excellent service here. The one star reviews do not reflect my experience. Service is above average, even had teller assistance to get a better rate on $ US. CIBC assisted me in reversing fraud against my account. If people can't wait for service, perhaps they should make an appointment like at any other place of business.
