This use to be my favorite branch for the last 15yrs until the latest renovation.the staff use to be very quick and friendly, well not anymore now they have new people and usually it's one or two tellers working and most of the time it's one so expect to stand in line fo 20min... I always paid my HST with a BMO chuqe for the last 10yrs now apparently they won't expect it any more.. I thought that any canadian chartered bank should accept a payment for CRA , well not CIBC?? Time to change
This branch was renovated and not for the better unfortunately. They removed the privacy barriers between tellers so now everyone can hear and see everyone banking transactions. The counters are so intimate now that everyone can hear everything including the people in line and in the waiting area. It’s a bank where transactions should be private and personal. Im surprised at this design and who thought it was a good idea. I was very uncomfortable with the teller counting out my cash while the customers next to me looked on. ... read more
