I received a cheque from the government, called contact center, confirmed business/personal etc... and was told to go to the branch to deposit. went there, a Asian lady refused to deposit, even though I offered to sign and endorse. I requested to ask the manager, but he was no around... Called contact center again, at the same time, I found the back the cheque prints: it can be cashed at any bank without account. So I went there again, and deposit to my account without any issue. Not sure why the other lady refused to do.
