Probably the most unfriendliest bank I’ve ever dealt with! Woman on the phone couldn’t have been less interested in answering my question- instead repeating the same sentence 3 times, so I asked to be transferred to a Manager for further clarification of my question since this woman was extremely unhelpful, was then transferred to a Manager who provided clarity and a clear answer to my question, but then he just hung up on me after thanking him. Could not even use card to enter ATM area when branch was closed. They should have ATM machines available for use during non-bank hours. I will be opening an account with BMO across the street for this reason.
Terrible experience as a new customer. A lady at the Business Clients counter was so rude during my visit. I believe her name begins with "D". She didn't know that the simple solution to problem I encountered was for me to follow the steps on the mobile app to simply register a new account. In addition to her not knowing her job she was incorrectly advising her colleague who was genuinely trying to assist. quick note - my friend - a retired Catholic Priest - had to spend 4 months in hospital after a fall. He attempted to speak to someone at a downtown branch and was dismissed. He had spoken to someone over the phone, who instructed him to attend at a branch - however the receptionist would not allow him to speak to anyone. He isn't very computer literate so I am writing this on his behalf. If someone needs to get more details, I can provide his details if some one wants to contact me
Saturday August 8th, 2026, 1300hrs. The location’s primary and secondary doors to access the ATM is locked. The next location at Oxford Street indicates that their ATM is also closed and to attend the Masonville Banking Centre being 6.4km from the Wellington location. I don’t know what tourists do while on foot, if they get off a VIA Rail train and want to access their funds to support local businesses. The London Chamber of Commerce should be investigating this as it hurts local businesses.
