Worst service I have received at a bank
Friday morning, 1 teller on , 3 others in their offices doing nothing, looking out at the 8+ people in line, absolutely horrible customer service.
The Staff at the CIBC have always been friendly and very helpful with suggestions on how to invest. But they have an advisor named Andrew S. that went out his way to help me when I was trying to close the deal on my house by helping me shift my money around and gather the 15 documents that I needed immediately all while I was at work 3000km away. Thank you Andrew
All banks are the same. This is a therapeutic review. I've banked with CIBC as soon as my parents set me up with an account. I've had a mix bag of issues. None as bad as my recent experience. The Bank stopped collecting the tax component of my mortgage payment- with no warning, fine. So I went to the city to set up payments to discover the bank had not paid my 2024 taxes. Something about my renewal being just before July 1st. No one said a thing. I even got them to add the penalty to my tax account. They still didn't notice ... read more
