Worst experience ever with CIBC/Simplii. I was instructed by Simplii to go to a CIBC branch to pick up a bank draft, and I was charged a $27 fee for it. I was specifically told to bring my ID, which I did. However, when I arrived at CIBC after driving approximately 40 minutes from home I was told that I also needed the bank account number. Terrible professionalism, booked an appointment with Amanda on June 16th, we were talking about filing for a credit card. She said she would give me a call with the results if I've been approved in exactly two business days. It's now 10 days later after trying to call the branch a few times and sent her a few emails. I got one response back from someone who answered the phone who actually said Amanda was directly beside their office with no clients at that moment and would give me a call before 6pm, unfortunately I never got... read more
