A completely useless branch with completely unqualified people (not specialists). I have been to the bank many times and always left disappointed. These unqualified useless employees usually spend half an hour clarifying with someone what I am asking about, then say that I should make an appt (in 2 weeks) or call somewhere myself and ask. Poor service Financial advisors don’t want to help despite being available.
I had a $6000 cheque that needed to be cashed asap ...they wouldnt override the 5 day grace period now I have to go to money mart it cost me $400 cause my own bank would cash my cheque ..this is so crazy
Ridiculous wait times.
Visited CIBC this afternoon around 2-2.15 pm. I was waiting in the line for 30-40 minutes - only one teller who was helping a customer with some issues. Bank staff were walking around - no one to help him. Please, CIBC HO, check your security cameras and see what were the staff and the managers working on and ignoring customers who are waiting in line Maybe all the staff should be able to handle the situation when there is only one teller and the lineup ends up near the ATMs
