I stopped in to cancel my CIBC credit card and they said it's only possible by calling their call centre, which is understaffed with a +60 minute hold time. Their phone system doesn't even have a call back option. I should have gone with WealthSimple or Scotia.
I am a CIBC customer for a really long time. I had an appointment with banking advisor at this branch. worst ever, the person does not even listen to what I am asking for and keeps circling around the issue and talks entirely different things. I was so frustrated at the end I told not to say something else if you dont know. in addition CIBC banking itself has issues with their browser development. in this process, they have blocked my access to my own investment account. its been 6 months and now I am not able to view my acc... read more
