I had an appointment to open a student bank account, but the person I was supposed to meet with didn’t show up. Kuljeet stepped in to help, and I’m so glad he did! He was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood what was happening, and really took his time to help me feel comfortable. I appreciated his professionalism and how approachable he was. I’ve banked with CIBC for years, but the in-branch experience has gone downhill. The cash withdrawal limits at the counter are unreasonably low, and you're often pushed to use the ATM instead. Staff regularly walk down the line asking if they can help only to direct people to the ATM rather than actually assisting or jumping behind the counter to reduce the wait.
