Very very bad bank, ery higly recommended to stay away. We would never ever do banking with CIBC again.
Very disappointing experience. We have been customers for over 25 years, but the way we were treated was unacceptable. We transferred/deposited money from our personal account into our business account, and the bank froze our account. Because of this, our mortgage payment was affected, and we were put under unnecessary stress. Instead of helping us properly or explaining clearly what needed to be done, they created a bigger problem for us. Meh... Just okay
Client service representative staff are friendly and helpful but the efficiency of their customer processing and service is abysmal at best.. lines leading out the doors on any given day, seemingly no matter what time either and usually only 1-2 tellers open. Can usually spot staff wandering around doing nothing but can't seem to open another teller and I see people walk out in disgust of the absurd wait times with every visit to this branch location. Highly recommend to avoid doing any in person banking here.
