This branch is WILD! I saw someone lose it on a teller and get escorted out by security the first time I was in there. The teller didn’t end up helping me and told me to call the mobile banking. The second time I went. I asked for a statement with all my accounts on it. The teller I think her name was Gurpreet asked me why. I told her it was for a mortgage. My experience with this branch was incredibly frustrating and felt intentionally deceptive. My partner and I needed our bank information to apply for a mortgage. We specifically asked for a document that the branch had provided to us the day before. Despite this, a representative told us that "they couldn't do it." This was a direct lie, as they had literally produced the exact same document for us just 24 hours earlier. The slowest branch. I had to wait half an hour in line just to pick up the credit card.
It was a disaster. Wasted an hour with no response or update on my application. The associate with whom I took the appointment, waited 4 days for the appointment had no access to my files, couldnt even see my application. She even wanted me to start a new application, which would have been a big screw up on my case. She called up CIBC Customer care, who made her wait for 45mins to answer my issue before hanging up on her. Such a waste of time.
Please choose a different branch then Sunridge cibc. No managers on Saturday’s. Never heard of a bank running without a manager. It’s unfortunate cause it’s just down the street from where I work and just each time I go in it’s long waits or the new one no managers. Would like to be contacted by a manager to figure a solution out to this but very poor service the 2.5 star this branch has is clearly realistic.
