The CIBC Shawnessy branch collaborated with the back office and stole $ 100K from me. Customer care created a case to return my $100K. However, the back office rejected it with the 'stealing' decision: CIBC will mail me a bank draft via Canada Post. They ignore that Canada Post is striking. They insist that they will use ordinary mail to mail me $100K. If the draft is lost, that will be my personal loss.
I came into the branch wanting to close a couple one if my accounts and was met with resistance by a not so pleasant indian lady at the counter. Everytime I would talk or say something she would roll her eyes at me, would stay seated and would toss my cards and documents onto the counter, and even tried to get me to put a balance onto a credit card account I have with them. Absolutely deplorable behavior from what was once a great branch, I would avoid this location.
This review is from a loyal 26+ year client of CIBC with $100,000's of dollars in interest paid over the years with multiple properties and mortgages that were held by CIBC CIBC offers 24/7 ATM services...not in this case This branch closes access to their vestibule after 10:00pm and then you need to go through the drive through ATM...problem...drive through ATM does not work. It is a great pleasure doing business in this branch. I feel welcomed and appreciated . Their services are superb. Most times I interacted with an Associate Financial advisor Ms Preeti Singla. She is professional, helpful and cheerful. She has a knack for identifying clients added services that introduced. I am thankful for the services I received
