Today i came to do my banking at this branch with my baby in stroller. I had an appointment with an advisor. Then there's a security guy there he kept staring at and i don't know why. I went on to deposit my money at the ATM but he still kept staring at me, and eventually i started to feel uncomfortable that i want to leave with my child but unfortunately i forgot my cash on the ATM. It's all because of that stare from the man. Eyes like this can cause you a bad luck like i have experienced today at this bank.
This review is solely a reflection of the main floor tellers, not CIBC in general. Every time I come in and need to see a teller, I am usually 1st/2nd in line and still have to wait 5-10 min to see anyone. You can see there's 4 of them back there helping 2 people and doing it as slow as physically possible. If I was only doing day to day banking here, I would absolutely change to another branch or bank.
Supposed to open at 9AM, at 9:05 you can see them taking their sweet time to set up without opening the doors. Not everyone has all the time in the world. If you say you're open at 9, be open at 9!
Contrary to others’ comments, I received warm and professional services from the staffs here and opening up an account here was smooth and frictionless.
