Misleading/false promotions.
The most incompetent banking service I have ever received.
I am having trouble converting my GIC back to my account. The bank insists on meeting with me but I am not available in banking hours. Now they have renewed it at a lower rate without my permission. I will be looking for a more customer friendly bank for my investments.
Zero experience or information available about USA accounts. Also, this was the second cibc I went to with basically zero knowledge of their own products/accounts. They don't even handle cash at this location. So I would recommend having staff learn products when they are just not doing anything else.
