After 2 calls requesting that his bank statements be mailed to him we are still waiting 5 months later. Disgusting
I've had excellent customer service from this branch.
Always friendly and helpful
There was some money deposited into my account which was put on hold. They said they couldn’t verify where it came from, even though I told them where it came from. They did not release the funds. They made me feel like a criminal and I had done something wrong. I closed my account and I will never bank at CIBC again.
I had the same experience. Being made to feel like a criminal trying to deposit my tax return two years in a row. I complained to head office after the second time and they were great and sincere in their apology, however it very unfortunate and humiliating. Since then i take my money to scotiabank they dont grill me.
