Banking with CIBC has been a smooth experience from day one. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to explain things without making you feel like you need a finance degree. Whether I'm depositing a cheque, asking questions, or sorting out my accounts, the service is efficient and professional. The mobile app makes banking easy, although I still check my balance hoping my coffee purchases have magically become investments. Overall, it's reliable service with a personal touch that keeps me coming back.
CIBC is terrible. If you pay off your credit card with money from your account at their branch, they put a hold on it causing your automated payments to fail. Unbelievable. It's not like this money is coming from elsewhere. I can transfer funds easier BY EMAIL than I can move money that is in my account to a credit card I've had for over 20 years! Losing my business, I'm furious!
They are lazy. They don't open until the last second. I switched to TD, much happier. The lady Teller that use gate near exit door, isn't polite and isn't qualified for bank job. And this is only in Quesnel. Other cibc places are much professional. Not going to be there anymore.
Atm vlosed at 6pm and still vharge you for using the atm across the street after they have left you no choicr
