I have visited this CIBC branch a few times whenever I went to Lougheed Shopping Centre or nearby establishments. As a Simplii user, I sometimes withdraw cash here for my transactions, and the withdrawals have always been free. The branch itself is well-maintained and provides a good experience overall. It is conveniently located and surrounded by many great establishments, making it an ideal spot to visit when in the area.
Absolutely trash branch. Their website said open until 5 PM on 24th Dec. I get there at 3:30 PM and it closed at 3 PM. The rude woman at the front giving me complete attitude about the sign at the front of the branch. Obviously I'm going to check the website before I come and check the sign on the door. She was completely dismissive, rude and condescending. And the bank can't update a simple thing on the website about holiday hours in the year 2025.
Slowest service ever!
Very frustrating, might change banks, Manager is hard to understand, communication skills and cordiality inexistent, had absolutely no knowledge about the simple question I was asking. Tellers were polite though.
So frustrated. I have been waiting over 2 months for an answer about my credit card application. Manager couldn't give me an answer, who to talk to or how to fix the problem in their end. He couldn't communicate properly and was very helpless.
