Was in the bank when a young lady came in tears. She had asked the bank if they towed her car from their lot and the teller smirked and said the manager had called the towing company. The manager came out and was so rude and dismissive to this poor girl. Our city is currently hosting over 10,000 evacuees from the bald range fire and I can’t for the life of me figure out why the staff couldn’t show an ounce of empathy or compassion. Manager was rude and dismissive. Gross the way they treat locals during a province-wide state of emergency. Zero empathy or compassion.
Our province is in a state of emergency, locals are being displaced, losing their homes and everything else. Was evacuated and needed to leave my car (with everything I have left) in a secure spot for an hour while I did some errands. Not only did CIBC lie and say my car was parked there all day, but they showed ZERO empathy or understanding during such a stressful time for our community.
