Not my favourite branch. Marlene is very accommodating and friendly. Lots of times clients will chat and catchup with a teller but it’s slows the line down although it’s familiarity in a small town branch so nice. I’ve seen the manager in action a few times and once with myself and she can be short/curt. I’ve transferred to Dundas. The worst branches however are Cambridge; awful.
Always have had great help at this location. Very easy and honest. One person in particular was Katharine. She’s always made everything so easy for me and pointed me in the right direction. She helped my wife and I make successful choices in our investments and also helped us in the process of purchasing our first home. She is very professional and knowledgeable and we will always be going to her for her help!
Visited the CIBC Waterdown branch on Oct 24, 2025, at 11:48 a.m. to pick up my new card. The teller wasn’t rude but was very cold and unwelcoming—no greeting or offer to help. Compared to TD and RBC, the service felt uncomfortable. I only use CIBC for my Costco card and likely won’t do further banking here.
Poor service at this CIBC branch. I came to pick up a credit card; there were only two customers, yet the staff ignored me, kept chatting with others, took a long time checking unrelated information, and even made mistakes.
