This was a very bad experience. CIBC is a bad bank. It's my 4th card and it's not even working!!! Use any other bank instead. The guy cancelled my second card "accidentally". Then they said they sent a new one, and they didn't! I've been waiting 3 weeks! Then we went to the actual bank, they gave me a new card that doesn't even work! Worst bank ever! Switching banks right away!
I am so disappointed in CIBC! I called them to activate my new card and the guy I was talking to, CANCELLED MY CARD. Yes, accidentally, but shouldn't they be like trained for this stuff? Honestly, send me a new one or something. I switched from RBC for CIBC. TERRIBLE IDEA. Switching back immediately!!! DON'T GO HERE
I am totally frustrated with CIBC Manotick. I have had my accounts here for 54 years and the customer service has deteriorated to zero. You cannot telephone and speak to someone - at best you choose a number, then you are told there is no one available leave your number and they’ll call back - they don’t call back in a timely manner. I finally went in to the branch to pick up some US cash only to be told that it was in her colleagues cash drawer and she was on lunch! Ridiculous! They refuse to give me my money. Not a loan but the money is wanted to withdraw had to be ordered cause they dont keep it on hand. I need a reason to take my money out if I don't they will not give it to me. I gave them a reason its been over a week and they refuse to give me my money
