Came to pickup a new debit card that had been shipped to this branch due to them not sending to PO Boxes for some dumb reason. Walked in to 10+ people long line with just 2 people at the desk. Took 40 minutes to essentially pick up mail. lol. Bad management at this place for sure

Have been in 4 times and was promised a callback every time with the status of a simple request. They keep screwing up trying to transfer my home branch from BC to Alberta so that I can have a local investment advisor. It’s been 6 months and 4 visits and numerous promises to call me. Taking my entire portfolio out of CIBC and going to another bank. Would give a zero stars if I could.

I have read all the negative reviews and I have to say I disagree. I have been a long time 20+ year client of CIBC and have done most of my in-person banking in the South of Calgary. This Okotoks branch has proven to be refreshing compared to other big city locations we have regularly done banking. I find there not to be a line, there are usually more than one teller open and they are DRESSED PROFESSIONALLY (sounds simple right). I was ready to leave CIBC altogether until I started visiting this branch. Thank you!

With their constant reduced hours, and ever-changing manger promising, "One day we'll open again on Saturdays", it simply never happens. They keep increasing fees, despite a REDUCTION of service. Unacceptable. Honestly, Jutta Wiederhold is the only reason we keep banking with CIBC here in Okotoks. Without her - there wouldn't be any reliable customer service. We give the branch 1 star. We give Jutta 5 stars.
