One teller 30 people in line. The manager doesn’t care!
The wait time is horrible. Everytime there is a huge lineup and just 2 advisors at the front. Credit unions are much better than this "national" bank.
They will take your money but when you want to transfer to different bank they charge you $100 fee. So what if you get $45 in GIC after year if you move your money they will still take a fee higher than what they gave you in interests. BS.
Ignorant and VERY useless staff, how do these guys keep their jobs?
CIBC is an absolute disgrace. I’ve spent almost a month just trying to cancel a credit card. Hours on hold, calls dropping, and the branch staff are completely useless. The manager couldn’t care less—literally shrugged it off and told me to call again. As a working professional, my time is valuable. CIBC wasted it all and gave zero respect. This is the most incompetent and careless bank I’ve ever dealt with. My entire family is pulling out every account. Do yourself a favor and avoid this pathetic excuse for a bank.
